The Tomsk Regional Court has canceled the registration of Yabloko’s party list for elections to the regional legislature following a lawsuit filed by the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.
The plaintiffs cited campaign activity on “social networks with restricted access,” alleged violations of intellectual property law and complaints related to the financing of campaign materials.
Yabloko said it planned to appeal the ruling.
Seven party candidates running in single-member constituencies in the Tomsk region remained on the ballot.
