Two drones violated Moldovan airspace during a large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine, Moldova’s Defense Ministry said.
The first aircraft entered Moldovan airspace from Ukraine near the village of Palanca at 10:33 a.m. and penetrated about 500 meters. It returned to Ukrainian territory about a minute later.
A second drone entered Moldovan airspace at 11:09 a.m. and left about 10 minutes later.
Moldova’s Defense Ministry said the incidents occurred during Russian strikes on Ukraine, including the Odesa region, but did not identify the two aircraft as Russian in its published statement.
It therefore cannot be stated as an established fact, without additional evidence, that these two particular drones were Russian.
