Denmark’s military intelligence service believes Russia is likely to intensify hybrid activity against European states and NATO countries, including sabotage, cyberattacks, and information operations.
The assessment was released amid a growing number of incidents that European authorities have linked to Russia.
At the same time, Danish intelligence did not consider a full-scale Russian attack on NATO countries the most likely scenario.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the alliance has plans for responding to sabotage and drone incidents and urged member states not to panic.
Russian authorities deny accusations that Moscow organizes sabotage operations in Europe.
