Britain is supplying Ukraine with a new batch of long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The number of missiles being transferred has not been disclosed. British authorities have not publicly announced the new shipment.
According to Bloomberg, replenishing Ukraine's stocks of Storm Shadow missiles was discussed by British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the Ukrainian leader's visit to London on October 14.
The agency's sources said London regards Ukraine's use of long-range weapons against Russian targets involved in attacks on civilians and infrastructure as defensive action.
Storm Shadow is an air-launched cruise missile with a range of more than 250 kilometers. Britain has supplied the missiles to Ukraine since 2023.
The report of a new shipment comes amid criticism of Ukrainian long-range strikes from U.S. President Donald Trump and growing disagreements between Washington and Kyiv.
