Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he hopes a trilateral meeting involving Ukraine, the United States and Russia could take place during the G20 summit scheduled for December in Miami.
Zelensky stressed, however, that neither the United States nor Russia has confirmed such a meeting.
He also named a European country, the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia as possible alternative venues for talks.
The proposal therefore remains a possible negotiating format rather than an agreed meeting.
