Russia's Tula region came under a large-scale drone attack overnight on October 28. Governor Dmitry Milyaev confirmed damage to homes and infrastructure in an industrial part of Novomoskovsk. ASTRA and Telegram monitoring channels reported a fire at the Azot chemical plant.
The governor did not name a particular factory. The Novomoskovsk Azot plant produces ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers, but photographs and videos of smoke from the industrial district do not establish which facilities were damaged or whether production was affected. After the attack, regional authorities sent environmental and public-health monitoring laboratories to the city.
