Ozon recorded estimated provisions of 30.1 billion rubles following drone attacks affecting its logistics infrastructure. The Russian online retailer disclosed the figure on October 28 in its unaudited third-quarter 2026 financial results. The amount is an accounting estimate of losses and related costs, not a figure for insurance compensation already received.
According to the company, fires following drone impacts have affected eleven logistics facilities since August. Such sites store, sort and move goods between sellers, warehouses and pickup points. Damage to even part of the network can disrupt order processing and generate additional expenses.
Ozon said the provisions cover several categories, including damaged merchandise, the loss or impairment of fixed assets, and associated costs. The 30.1 billion rubles should therefore not be understood as the value of a single destroyed warehouse.
Some of the affected assets were insured, and the company is negotiating potential reimbursements. Any eventual compensation would affect the net financial impact. The reported figure remains a preliminary estimate in the quarterly accounts.
The disclosure indicates the economic scale of attacks on civilian logistics infrastructure. It links the consequences not only to physical damage at facilities but also to lost inventory and the additional costs of maintaining operations.
