The AI-generated song “Ty Moya…” (“You Are My…”) by DJ NARODNII has become unavailable on Yandex Music. When users tried to play it, the service displayed a notice saying that access had been blocked at Roskomnadzor’s request.
Released on September 18, the track rapidly spread on TikTok. Afisha Daily reported that more than 19,000 videos used the song in its first week. Its lyrics sparked debate: some heard a parody of AI-generated music, while others criticized the song for degrading women and evoking violence.
Its creator, Denis Vershigorov, who performs as DJ NARODNII, called it satire of low-quality AI music. According to Ostorozhno Novosti, Russia’s Federal Agency for Youth Affairs had called for restrictions as early as September 29. The musician said five remixes had also disappeared from the service.
