Russian commercial courts had still not fully restored online hearings three weeks after attacks on Yandex data centre infrastructure, according to court orders examined by journalists and reported on October 29.
The documents show courts in Altai Krai and Tyumen region were still reporting technical difficulties and postponing hearings as recently as October 27. The problems represent continuing effects of the outage, rather than disruptions confined to the first days after the attack on digital infrastructure.
Remote participation allows company representatives and lawyers to attend hearings without travelling to another region. When the service is unavailable, participants must change their plans and commercial disputes may be delayed.
