Russia's Justice Ministry updated its register of foreign organizations designated "undesirable" by Russian authorities on October 30. The 11 additions include the platform for dialogue with Russian democratic forces at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the Slovak publisher Vidim Books.
Other groups listed include the human rights organization Sech, United Help Ukraine and organizations based in the United States and Europe, including some associated with the Unification Church movement. The designation of the PACE-linked platform does not automatically extend to the assembly itself or to everyone taking part in the platform.
The Prosecutor General's Office issued the underlying decisions to designate the organizations between October 12 and 21. It was the Justice Ministry's register that was updated on October 30.
