The Pskov Regional Court postponed a hearing on appeals in the case of Lev Shlosberg, a politician and deputy chair of the Yabloko party, until 10 a.m. on November 6. The court granted the defense's request for an adjournment on October 29, the party's press office said.
His lawyers said they had not been properly notified of the hearing and therefore had been unable to discuss their position with Shlosberg in pretrial detention. According to Yabloko, Shlosberg himself also complained that he had not been given the complete audio record of the trial-court hearings. He attended the appeals hearing by video link.
In August 2026, Shlosberg was sentenced to 11 years and one month in prison in criminal cases involving alleged “fake news” about the Russian military and repeated “discrediting” of the armed forces.
