Krasnodar Regional Court sentenced a woman from Crimea to 12 years and six months in a general-regime penal colony on a treason charge. The court also imposed a fine of 150,000 rubles and 18 months of restricted freedom. The Crimean Process human rights project identified the defendant as Crimean Tatar woman Diana Havryliuk (Abdurashitova); her name was withheld in the court's official announcement.
Prosecutors alleged that the woman transferred money while abroad to accounts supporting Ukraine's armed forces. Citing court information, Kommersant put the amount at 1,477 hryvnias. The verdict had not yet entered into legal force, according to the published information.
The Crimean Process alleges that the woman was abducted at Sochi airport on October 31, 2025, and then held in isolation for about four months without formal charges or necessary medical care. Those are the rights group's allegations, not findings established by the available court ruling.
The project says all seven hearings in the case were held behind closed doors. It questioned whether the proceedings met open-justice standards and raised concerns about a Russian court trying a resident of occupied Crimea.
