CelesTrak lists the Russian Rassvet satellite RASSVET-3 17 as having reentered the atmosphere on October 29, 2026. The spacecraft has NORAD catalog number 100083 and international designation 2026-165A, as shown in CelesTrak’s list of decayed objects.
According to The Insider’s tally, 32 satellites in the series were launched in 2026, and RASSVET-3 17 became the constellation’s second lost spacecraft.
The Aerospace Corporation had previously predicted reentry around October 30, with a margin of several hours. Unlike that forecast, CelesTrak now lists the object as decayed; the catalog does not give a cause.
