Georgy Paramoshin, convicted in a case involving the NatDem Telegram channel, was transferred to strict conditions of confinement in a penal colony after spending three days in a punishment cell. SOTA reported the transfer, citing a source familiar with the situation. According to that source, the stricter regime is to last six months.
Paramoshin's relatives previously said he had been placed in the punishment cell after refusing to weave camouflage nets for the Russian army. They linked the disciplinary measure to that refusal.
Paramoshin is 24. In October 2025, the Sergiyev Posad City Court sentenced him to eight years in a general-regime penal colony in the NatDem case.
