Latvia's National Armed Forces reported detecting an unidentified object near the country's borders with Russia and Belarus on November 1. Residents in the area were advised to remain indoors because of the incident.
About half an hour later, the military said the object had left Latvian airspace and lifted the warning. It did not identify the object's origin.
