Moscow's Department of Transport has announced increased fare inspections on surface public transport in November. According to the department, police officers will take part, including to check compliance with immigration law.
Inspections are planned in Moscow's Southern, South-Western and North-Western administrative districts, as well as the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts (TiNAO).
Deputy Mayor Maksim Liksutov said the enhanced checks would take place weekly on the busiest routes.
