Russia's president on November 2 signed Federal Law No. 344-FZ, ratifying an agreement among Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries to exchange information used to enforce court judgments and other enforceable decisions.
The agreement provides for sharing details of enforcement proceedings, debtors' whereabouts, employment, income and property, including bank accounts and vehicles. Requested information is to be provided within 30 working days.
Russia signed the agreement on May 13, 2025. The State Duma adopted the ratification law on October 14, 2026, and the Federation Council approved it on October 28. Signing Russia's ratification law does not, by itself, mean the agreement has entered into force for every CIS country.
