St. Petersburg’s Primorsky District Court granted a claim on November 3 to evict journalist Alexander Nevzorov from a house in Lisiy Nos and remove him and several relatives from its residence registration records. The city courts’ joint press service announced the ruling but did not report that the eviction had already been carried out that day.
The people named included Nevzorov’s wife Lydia, his son and his wife’s mother Natalia Kolesnikova. The case concerns the house and their registration, rather than a verified account of where each person currently lives.
The dispute follows a December 2024 ruling transferring Nevzorov’s assets, including the house and its plot of land, to the state. The November decision addresses a subsequent stage of the property case.
Russian authorities previously placed Nevzorov on the “foreign agents” register and prosecuted him over alleged “false information” about the Russian military.
