A hospice ward at a city hospital in Dnipro was badly damaged in a strike on November 3. Mayor Borys Filatov said nearly 50 seriously ill patients had been moved to other medical facilities. The oldest was 90, he said.
Hospital deputy director Anton Kovalets told Suspilne that more than 100 patients were in the hospital as a whole when it was struck, about half of them in the hospice ward. He said all patients had been evacuated and survived. Filatov said the hospice's patient rooms and care facilities had been renovated shortly before the attack.
Dnipropetrovsk regional administration head Oleksandr Hanzha reported two people killed and 20 injured in the strikes across Dnipro, not specifically at the hospice. He said the search and rescue operation was over and 14 injured people had been hospitalized. Homes and other medical and social facilities in the city were also damaged.
