Oil shipments through the Atyrau–Samara trunk pipeline resumed after a stoppage on November 2, Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry spokesperson Asel Serikpayeva said on November 3. She said pumping was once again operating normally following a technical inspection.
The ministry had announced a temporary suspension of oil intake the previous day, linking it to a drone attack on facilities at the Samara production and dispatch hub in Russia.
Atyrau–Samara is Kazakhstan's second-largest oil export route by volume after the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system. Kazakhstan exported 9.2 million tonnes of oil through it in 2025. The line feeds Kazakhstan's oil into Russia's Transneft system for onward shipments to international markets.
