Nine people were injured in hate-motivated attacks in Russia in October 2026, according to a monthly monitoring report published on November 3 by the Sova Center.
Since the beginning of the year, the group has documented 133 attack incidents, including two killings, as well as 24 acts of xenophobic vandalism. The figure of 133 counts incidents, not individual victims.
The numbers reflect cases identified by the centre’s monitoring work, rather than a comprehensive count of all hate crimes in Russia.
