Ukrainian news agency UNIAN said its reporter was attacked by unidentified people while covering clashes in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka near Kyiv. According to the agency, the journalist told the attackers that he was a member of the press, but the assault continued.
In a separate report, UNN described an attack on its own staff member during clashes in the same area. That involved another journalist and does not independently corroborate the specific details of UNIAN’s account. Ukrainian law-enforcement agencies are investigating the wider clashes.
