On November 3, ASTRA published two eyewitness videos that it linked to a fire at the Samara oil pumping station following a drone attack on November 2. According to the outlet, the fire was still burning the next day. The dates and locations where the videos themselves were recorded have not been independently verified. The videos also do not establish whether any tanks were damaged or whether the pipeline system's operations were disrupted.
ASTRA previously said it had geolocated a plume of smoke to the vicinity of the station, about 30 kilometers east of Samara, based on its own analysis of the location.
According to ASTRA, the site has 71 storage tanks with a combined designed capacity exceeding 1.6 million cubic meters. The outlet also referred to attacks on this infrastructure in October.
