Reports have emerged of planned staff reductions and restructuring at healthcare and education institutions in Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Khanty-Mansi autonomous district and the Omsk region. The institutions are at different stages of possible changes, ranging from warnings and proposals to disputes over reorganization.
In Krasnoyarsk Krai, local outlets reported that between 200 and 345 employees could lose their jobs as part of a hospital restructuring in Minusinsk. Regional authorities say doctors will not be affected and that some other employees may be offered alternative positions. The number of workers potentially affected should not be treated as the number already dismissed.
Kindergarten employees in Surgut have received warnings about possible staff cuts. Citing a source familiar with the situation, URA.RU reported that one institution needed 181 million rubles for salaries but was allocated 138 million. According to the source, positions under consideration for cuts include deputy heads, senior and junior teachers and other specialists. The outlet requested comment from the city administration but had not received a response when it published its report. These are reported proposals at particular institutions, not a confirmed count of completed dismissals.
In the Omsk region, ambulance staff at the Maryanovka Central District Hospital and trade union representatives opposed proposals to cut dispatcher positions. They pointed to existing staffing difficulties and expressed concern that the changes could delay responses to emergency calls.
