Kyiv's Solomianskyi District Court ordered two women held in pretrial detention on November 4 in a case arising from clashes outside a building housing Ukrainian National Guard service members in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka. Valentyna Moloda was remanded for 60 days, through January 2, 2027, without the option of bail. Court reports by Ukrainska Pravda and Ukrinform confirmed the ruling.
A Ukrainian prosecutor confirmed to Ukrainska Pravda that another woman, aged 49, had been placed in custody under the same no-bail conditions. The outlet identified her as Tetiana Kyriieva, citing its own sources; the spelling of her name has not been independently confirmed in the official materials reviewed.
Prosecutors allege that the women obstructed military personnel and disseminated information about a military unit. Pretrial detention does not constitute a finding of guilt. Moloda denied the allegations in court and said she intended to appeal the detention order.
The case stems from clashes near the National Guard building that also raised questions about the conditions in which service members were being held there. On November 3, Ukraine's Security Service said it had identified more than 100 people involved in the incidents. An inquiry into possible mistreatment of the service members is being conducted separately from the investigation into the actions of those involved in the clashes.
