The MR VOR navigation beacon at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport has been out of service since October 23, 2026. A published NOTAM, A7573/26, says the restriction began at 11:15 UTC that day and is due to remain in effect until 20:59 UTC on April 23, 2027. Verstka first drew attention to the notice.
Two instrument approach procedures associated with the MR VOR beacon are also unavailable for the duration of the restriction. The notice concerns this navigation equipment and the two procedures, not an airport closure.
