Material previously available on the website of Tomsk’s NKVD Investigative Prison memorial museum, including the online list of victims of political repression known as the Tomsk Martyrology, is no longer accessible following a site redesign. Govorit NeMoskva reported the changes on November 5 after comparing the earlier and new websites.
The outlet also noted that some information about the museum’s history and one of its founders, Vasily Khanevich, was missing from the new site. The loss of public access does not establish that the museum’s database or original records have been destroyed; the future availability of the online archive remains unclear.
