United Russia members of the State Duma have been advised to meet constituents more frequently in residential courtyards, on streets and at workplaces during the November 2–8 constituency week, rather than relying mainly on formal office appointments. Journalists examined the internal guidance, and two lawmakers confirmed the document’s authenticity.
The recommendations also encourage less formal contact, discussion of election results, thanks to supporters and patriotic events.
